Siltakuja’s basic renovation is nearing completion – apply for a home now!

The basic renovation of Siltakuja F, in stairwells A-F, will be completed in June 2025. You can already apply for the newly renovated homes, and moving in will be possible in the summer. Explore the property and check out the before-and-after renovation photos!

A basic renovation is a comprehensive refurbishment in which an old property is completely renewed. Well-functioning parts are preserved, while those in need of improvement are replaced with new ones. After the renovation, the property looks and feels like a completely new building, as all fixtures and surfaces in the apartments, stairwells, and common areas have been updated. As part of the Siltakuja basic renovation, the water pipes, sewers, electrical systems, and ventilation system were also renewed.

The renovation also brought high-quality common areas to Siltakuja, including a lounge, a gym, and a spacious laundry room. Additionally, the courtyard has been redesigned to be more comfortable and inviting.

Siltakuja offers apartments for both individuals and those moving in together. The available homes include studios as well as spacious one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The apartments have a cozy and modern look, featuring light wood-colored vinyl plank flooring and white walls, allowing residents to decorate according to their own style. Bedrooms offer ample closet space for personal belongings.

The light brown bathroom provides plenty of storage and has space for a personal washing machine. In the kitchen, everyday convenience is enhanced by a dishwasher. A sleek built-in stovetop and oven give the kitchen a streamlined appearance, while the light tones of the cabinets and countertops add warmth and coziness.

Right next to Siltakuja is the Entresse Shopping Centre, where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, hairdressing and beauty services, as well as cultural amenities like a diverse library and the Helinä Rautavaara Museum. For cultural experiences, Kannusali, a venue for various performances, is just across the railway tracks.

The area also offers excellent recreational opportunities. The Keski-Espoo swimming hall and sports hall, as well as the Kirkkojärvi sports park, provide a variety of activities for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. For those seeking peace in nature, the nearby outdoor trails offer great routes for jogging and walking.

From Siltakuja, the train station is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the journey to Helsinki city center takes about half an hour. Espoon keskus is a key public transport hub, providing easy access across the Helsinki metropolitan area by train and bus. Those moving in with a car can reserve a parking space on the property and enjoy convenient routes via Turuntie and Kehä III.

There are also educational institutions nearby: Omnia’s Espoon keskus campuses are right next to Siltakuja. Leppävaara’s educational institutions and Metropolia’s Karamalmi campus can be reached by train in about twenty minutes.

Additionally, the property has a consumption-based water fee. The advantage of this system is that you only pay for the water you actually use. The water fee is charged as a monthly advance payment along with the rent and is adjusted every four months.

As a Hoas tenant, you can enjoy free internet, as well as access to laundry and sauna slots at no extra cost. The property’s shared spaces are also available for you to use free of charge.
