Services for exchange students
As an exchange student, your housing includes some services that may differ from those available to other tenants. Your apartment comes with basic furniture, and many everyday essentials are included in your rent. You’ll also have access to shared facilities and maintenance services.
Below you’ll find the most important services and what you need to know about using them.
Energy
Electricity, heating and water are included in your rent. No separate activation is needed.
Furniture
All exchange student apartments come with basic furniture. Check the full list of included furniture here.
Internet
Your rent includes a free 200M internet connection. Just bring an Ethernet cable or a router for Wi-Fi.
Repairs
Need something repaired? Exchange students have extensive maintenance services. Submit a fault report in MyHoas.
Insurance
Insurance protects your belongings from damage or theft. We recommend insurance for your valuables.
Laundry
Laundry rooms are free to use. Book your laundry time in Hoas Booking and use the available laundry facilities.
Sauna
Sauna use is free. Book your sauna time in Hoas Booking. You can make three or five bookings per month.
Social
Enjoy shared spaces and tenant activities, such as club rooms and gyms, and get to know your neighbours.
Storage
Storage spaces are available for larger items. You can also keep your bike safely in the outdoor equipment storage.
Parking
Parking is available at most properties for a separate fee. Apply for your own parking space separately.
