The tenant is responsible for some of the maintenance work. The tenants responsibility chart will help you to determine whether the work should be done by you or Hoas. For example, changing light bulbs (also in household appliances), cleaning the drain trap and changing a blown fuse are normally tenant responsibilities.
You are responsible for the functioning and repairing of your own appliances. If you submit a fault report which results in repair work, and it then turns out that the problem is with your appliance, you will have to pay for unnecessary maintenance visit.
The tenant will be charged for costs incurred by negligence, improper handling or lack of maintenance according to the tenant charge sheet. In certain cases the tenant may be charged according to actual cost.
