Here, you are truly living in a community; the tenants can relax in the shared living room and the two communal kitchens are used particularly by the tenants living in studio flats. It is well connected by metro, buses and trams. Tramway from Kalasatama to Pasila will be compeled and start operating in 2024.
The Helsinki city centre is easily reachable by bike and the distance to Hakaniemi is only about 1.5 kilometres. The Arabia shopping centre and Redi shopping centre are within walking distance. Kumpula campus is approximately one kilometre away from the building and there are good public transport connections to Viikki and city centre campuses.
At Haukilahdenkuja, there are two types of studio apartments, studios with a mini kitchen and studios with shared kitchens. The studios with a mini kitchen are equipped with a burner, microwave, and refrigerator. The property also has studios with a shared kitchen, these studios are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The studios of Haukilahdenkuja do not have their own oven, but the residents have access to the shared kitchens in the A and B buildings, where you can not only cook, but also eat and hang out.
