Myllypuro
Myllypuro is the developing gem of eastern Helsinki, where you can find closeness to nature and sports opportunities as well as services and excellent transport connections.
The study campuses of Metropolia and Stadin AO are located in Myllypuro, and direct buses take you quickly from Myllypuro to e.g. Viikki, Kumpula, Arabia and Malmi campuses.
Myllypuro mall has two grocery stores and a wider range of services can be found at the Itis shopping center in less than two kilometers away. There are plenty of outdoor recreation and exercise opportunities. You can for example play ball games at Pallomylly, do sports or gymnastics at Liikuntamylly, go for a walk in Alakivenpuisto or enjoy the peace of nature in the outdoor recreation area of Hallainvuori.
Thanks to the metro and bus lines, moving to and from Myllypuro is very convenient. The journey to the extensive services of Itäkeskus takes a minute by metro, and the nightlife of Kallio can be reached in 13 minutes. It takes only 17 minutes to get to the center of Helsinki by metro and about 25 minutes by night buses.
