Hoas key management transferred to Caverion

Hoas’s key management was transferred to Caverion in October 2025, and many key-related processes changed. The purpose of the change is to streamline especially the pick up and return of keys.

Collecting and returning keys

Keys are collected from and returned to a Caverion key machine. Key machines are located near the apartments, usually in connection with K-Group grocery stores. The machines are available during the store opening hours.

Tenants moving out must return the keys by 9 AM on the next business day after the tenancy agreement ends. Tenants moving in can pick up the keys to their new home starting from 12 noon on the first business day after the tenancy agreement has started.

Report a lost key to Caverion

If you lose a key, contact Caverion immediately. Caverion will charge the tenant for lost keys and any lock rekeying costs according to its price list.

The door opening service doesn’t change. If you lock yourself out, contact Securitas door opening service (available 24/7).

Keys, access tags, etc., related to parking spaces are collected from and returned to a Caverion service point. Parking-related keys cannot be returned to the key machine.

Report a faulty key or lock to Hoas

If there is a fault with the lock or key, report it to Hoas by submitting a fault report in MyHoas.

Moving from one Hoas apartment to another

Tenants moving from one Hoas apartment to another must return the keys to their previous home by 9 AM on the next business day after the tenancy agreement ends, using the Caverion key machine. The keys to the new home can be collected on the same day starting from 12 noon from the key machine near the new apartment.

The key handover agreement has been discontinued

Keys must now always be returned via the Caverion key machine. Keys must not be handed over directly to the next tenant or received from the previous tenant under any circumstances.
