The light-coloured buildings are set in the middle of a park-like area. There are great outdoor areas nearby: Keskuspuisto park, Kaarela park, apple orchard and a horse stable. The Kannelmäki train station is a short walk away, and from there you can get to central Helsinki and Myyrmäki, Vantaa. The Kauppakeskus Kaari shopping centre and its services are only a short walk away.
There are shared apartments, a few studios and two room apartments for single occupants. Two and three room apartments are reserved for couples and families.
The tenants share common spaces such as the club room and the gym with the tenants of Kitarakuja properties.
A facade renovation has been completed in August 2021.
