Warm welcome to the new roommate! From my side, we are always relaxed people but we respect the night time peace by not making noise when it’s late at night and other roommates are sleeping/having to wake up early the next morning. The same goes for all roommates.
Another very important thing is the cleanliness of the apartment. It goes as simple, if someone makes a mess anywhere in the apartment(whether that be kitchen, dirt on floor, bathroom, etc.) = it’s their own responsibility to clean those areas properly without leaving it dirty or having other roommates cleaning someone else’s mess (I have faced this type of bad experience and I still do at times). This should be a respectful rule every single day. Besides that, it is always good to communicate between all roommates about the common area cleaning. Who takes which part to clean/ when the cleaning is divided out, as other roommates should step up and be responsible in a respectful manner. This keeps the apartment clean without the need for one single roommate to clean the entire apartment alone. I myself am speaking this exact thing from many past bad experiences in here, which are still sometimes going on. Taking the trash out equally/not waiting for others to take it out when it gets all piled up is the same thing as the cleaning. Again, this goes for all roommates, respectfully and equally. :)
Besides these, there’s nothing else. From my side, I welcome the new roommate, see you! :)
