49 new student homes will be completed by January 2023 in Helsinki’s Myllypuro at address Yläkiventie 7. The nine-storey house will have a total of 42 one-room apartments and 7 family apartments.
The apartments have white walls and vinyl floors. The kitchen cabinets are white, backsplash is a gray laminate board and the worktop is made of stainless steel. The bathroom walls are tiled in two shades of gray and the floor tile is dark. All apartments have a dishwasher and the bathroom has a place for tenant’s own washing machine.
On the first floor of the nine-story building, there are a bicycle storage room and storage lockers. On the top floor, there is a common tenant sauna that can be booked free of charge and a club room with a balcony. The building does not have a shared laundry room, but tenants will be allowed to use the laundry room of Yläkiventie 4, which will be completed in spring 2023. There are no parking spaces at this property.
Yläkiventie 7 is located 500 meters from the Myllypuro metro station, a mall and the Metropolia campus. There is also Stadin AO (Helsinki Vocational College and Adult Institute) on the Myllypuro campus area as well as Helsinki’s new language high school in 2023. A total of four Hoas houses will be completed in the area.

The new homes in Yläkiventie will soon be offered up for rent, and the new tenants will be able to move in in January 2023.
