Popular student homes near Viikki campus

Very popular property, very rarely available apartments.

This apartment block and the row houses in the inner yard are situated in the new residential area of Latokartano in Viikki, next to the Viikki campus area of the University of Helsinki. Metropolia Myllypuro campus area is 2,5 kilometres away from Tilanhoitajankaari 11.

There are two and three room apartments equipped with balconies that have glass windows. The ground floor apartments have small gardens. For those moving alone there are studios. Studio apartments have french balconies. The renovation of the bathrooms in the apartments has finished on the property in March 2021. The bathrooms got new tiles and new fixtures.

The yard area is green and pleasant, and includes a play area for children. On the rooftop terrace there are boxes for cultivation. The tenants are welcome to use the club room and saunas on the sixth floor.

Kiinteistön kunto on ihan hyvä ja rakennukset ovat ulkonäöltään keskivertoa. Kalusteista (varsinkin vessan kaapit) huomaa sen, että on päätetty ostaa lähes halvimmat mahdolliset. Ei niissä ole kuitenkaan mitään erityistä vikaa. Äänieristys on todella huono mielestäni. Sijainti on hyvä, jos käy koulua Viikissä, Myllypurossa tai Arabiassa. Bussipysäkit ovat todella lähellä ja busseja menee usein. Täältä on hieman hidas päästä nopeasti minnekään, koska alueella ei ole metroa tai junaa. Keskustaan pääsee kuitenkin hieman yli puolessa tunnissa. Alue on myös todella rauhallinen ja lähiluontoa riittää. Lähellä on Alepa ja K-supermarket, joiden lisäksi puolentoista kilometrin päässä on Prisma. Vuokrataso on myös hyvä. Ainakin mielestäni yksiöiden hinta-laatusuhde on erinomainen.
